The Estate Swing E-S 1600 is a DIY constant duty low voltage gate opener designed with versatile mounting options. Use the E-S 1600 in a residential situation of up to 4 homes.
- Gate Materials: Wood, Steel, Aluminum, Vinyl, Chain Link, and others.
- Weight and length: Up to 16' in length or 800 lbs
- Gate Post or Column size (pull to open): Max 6" x 6" post or gate mounted 3" from the rear face of a column.
- Push to Open: Yes (bracket supplied can be used either way) - setback above does not apply to push to open.
- Solar Compatible: No - must be within 200 feet of outlet
- Power: Low Voltage Transformer (included) and
Backup Batteries (Optional, Not included)

As part of one of GateCrafters.com's constant quality checks and knowledge updates, I personally go to Italy annually to visit the factories in which Estate Swing products are made. One of my goals is to see what exactly is being done to meet the high standards of the ISO 9000 ratings. What I have found is every part that is assembled is put through a computer-guided test. Some tests for example are to be sure the electrical side of the part has the correct amount of resistance; another to test the motion vibrations of moving parts, a third is the overall longevity of the part. The computer then rejects or accepts the part. Another test done at the factory is running samples of the openers at 50% duty cycle for the entire life of the warranty at its rated capacities to ensure reliability.
